Double PJ, Double Clothes (#3)
This week we are going to wear our clothes and PJs two times to save energy and water. I think it might be hard to remember to wear them for two days. We plan to fold up our clothes that we've only worn once and put them at the end of our beds. We plan to keep doing this after our week is over.

We do this. It helps a lot with laundry.
That was certainly one of the motivations behind it!
We've been doing this for years....mostly because I'm totally lazy. *grin* My rule is if there is no obvious stains and it doesn't stink, keep wearing it. Obviously undies, socks and the like are worn once....
I used to have hooks in each of the kids rooms when the olders were younger. Their clothes that had been worn got hung on the hooks until they got stained/stinky.
Pj's and bath towels get washed once every 2 weeks, unless the towel has been left in a damp heap on the floor. Sheets are done monthly...if I remember. None of us has died yet from germs. :o)
Another thing...we don't do as much laundry in the winter as we wear underclothes (tshirts and long underwear) that keep our outer clothes from getting as stinky, and means less laundry.
Hey kiddos! Check out my blog today. I have something special for all your hard work on going green!
We do this too although we sometimes wear them TOO much before washing them again. :)
I do this as well. Every little bit helps.
I folded up some jeans and put them somewhere, but now I can't find them.
I think this is a wonderful idea!
Thanks for visiting my blog.
It is my first time here but after a scroll over, I'm gonna be here for awhile!
Already, I'm digging you....
So, that being said.......I'm off to play on your blog!
:)
Have a wonderous day!
